Marloo Equipment LLC

Marloo Equipment was started in 2009 by Leon Van Loon and his wife Marleen Anthonissen. As a long time dairy farmer, Leon realized the value of a reliable wagon for mixing high quality feed. Once he bought his first Peecon mixer wagon, he never looked back. Passionate about this product, he knew it was something other farmers could benefit from as well. This is when he started importing and selling Peecon mixers. Later on, he also became a dealer of Tulip equipment.

A man at the forefront of technology in the dairy industry, he was always looking for ways to improve efficiency. He spent a lot of time brainstorming ways to make mowing the many acres of hay more efficient. He wanted to increase production, lower fuel costs, and reduce man hours. This is when the concept of the VLM frame was conceived. Knowing he would need quality mowers to put on the frame, he became the US-wide distributor of SIP hay harvesting machinery. With the collaboration of SIP, whose mowers are attached to the frame, the world’s largest towable hay mower was created in 2016.

Being a farmer himself, he knew the negative impact that too much down time played on productivity. Providing the best customer service was always of high importance to Leon, which is why Marloo Equipment has an extensive parts inventory when customers need it most.
